Comprehensive Education in Contemporary Aortic Valve Disease Management
The management of patients with aortic valve disease is rapidly evolving, driven by continuous advances in transcatheter and surgical therapies, imaging technologies, and procedural techniques. In parallel, an expanding body of clinical trials and outcomes research is reshaping evidence-based decision-making across the spectrum of aortic valve disease.
To address these developments, faculty from Cleveland Clinic have designed this educational program, Cleveland Clinic Mastering the Management of Aortic Valve Disease , to provide clinicians with up-to-date clinical evidence, practical management strategies, and multidisciplinary perspectives essential for optimizing outcomes in patients with aortic valve disease.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Evaluate the clinical presentation and management strategies for patients with aortic valve disease by integrating patient-specific factors, timing of intervention, and individualized risk stratification.
- Analyze the strengths, limitations, and appropriate clinical applications of contemporary imaging modalities used in the diagnosis, surveillance, and procedural planning of aortic valve disease.
- Describe current state-of-the-art and emerging therapeutic options for aortic valve disease, with an emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered transcatheter and surgical approaches.
- Apply interprofessional and multidisciplinary strategies to optimize outcomes for patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve interventions and surgical valve replacement.
- Navigate complex clinical, ethical, and decision-making challenges in the management of elderly patients and those with significant comorbidities and advanced aortic valve disease.
